About me
I’m Sonny Chase, a songwriter, a storyteller, shaped by faith, family, and the open roads of life. My music is where memories meet melody: raw and reflective and always reaching for hope. Whether it’s reflections on the good times, bad times, or slower songs that carry the weight of loss. I write to remind myself about journeys of the past, and just maybe helping others do the same.
My childhood was limited in some ways because of epilepsy, until I turned forty-four. I decided my brain surgery was my last option, so that's what I did. I have been blessed with thirteen seizure free years. God I believe said it was my time to show the blessing I have received and show the level of grace that is truly there, if you watch and listen.
Since 2021, I have been truck driving, gone for periods of time, seeing our country and places I've never been. The incidences you see on the road give a lot to write about. With the alone time and missing family, you have to put it on paper in the shape of lyrics. I would love being home to record final recordings, but it's on the road and do the best recording possible.
